Who
We Are
Since
1990, Triumph Church has ministered the love of Jesus Christ to
the regions of West Central Mississippi and East Louisiana. From
small beginnings in a rented pipe-fitter’s hall to a beautiful
17-acre campus with multi-buildings overlooking the City of
Vicksburg, Triumph celebrates a growing membership of over 500.
We
have a multi-generational vision with ministries reaching every
age group and member of the family. Our mission is to equip
believers for greatness in the Kingdom of God. Triumph is a place
to believe, belong, and become everything God has for you to be.
For nearly 20 years now, we’ve been strengthening families,
communities, and our world by encouraging a relationship with
Jesus Christ in a diverse, multicultural atmosphere filled with
vibrant Worship and relevant Word. If you don’t have a home

What
We Believe
• We believe in the One True God, external in His existence,
Triune in His manifestation, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit-and that
He is sovereign and absolute in His authority.
• We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, in its
entirety to be given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit,
infallible, authoritative, without error, as God’s revealed Word
to man.
• We believe in the complete deity of our Lord Jesus Christ and
in His supernatural conception and virgin birth. We believe He
lived a sinless life and died a vicarious and atoning death. We
believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right
hand of the Father, and His future return to this Earth in power
and glory to rule and reign forever.
• We believe in communion as regular observance for all
believers to remember the sacrificial death and resurrection of
Jesus Christ.
• We believe in salvation of lost sinful man by the regeneration
of the Holy Spirit. We believe that each man must repent and that
salvation is by sovereign grace through faith in Jesus Christ as
Savior.
• We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit, as evidenced
in the book of Acts, is given to every believer that asks,
enabling that Christian to live a holy, sanctified life of power.
• We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved and the
lost, the saved to everlasting life and the lost without Christ to
eternal damnation.
• We believe in water baptism by immersion soon after accepting
Christ as personal Savior and that it is a testimony of death to
sin and resurrection to a new life. We believe in divine healing
provided through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ as an inclusive
portion of His passion.
• We believe in the present day ascension gift ministries of the
Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher and the
manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit as supernatural
phenomena.
