Our Pastors 


Mike grew up in Vicksburg, the son of Norman and Joyce Fields and the grandson of the late Rev. George W. Fields. 

After completing his early education, he attended Commonwealth College, Houston, Tex., graduating in 1984. He married Zena Baladi in 1985. They have two children, George Anthony and Chelsea Fields.

Mike worked in funeral home operations and management until founding his own company, a burial vault manufacturing business in Jackson, Miss., in 1989. 

He and Zena were among earliest members of Triumph, serving as elders and as ministry of music. 

In the year 2000, following God's leading, Mike sold the business to become Triumph's Senior Pastor. Triumph has seen tremendous growth over the past ten years under his vision and leadership. 

Zena has served along side him with a heart for women and a strong gift of administration. She brings a spirit of excellence to this pastoral team.

Mike is nearing completion of his seminary training from Trinity College and Biblical Seminary, Newburgh, Ind. Upon graduating he will hold a bachelor of arts degree in Theology/Biblical Studies.
